GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - In the latest weather update from the South African Weather Service, you can expect partly cloudy and warm to cool conditions this afternoon, with possible isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers over the central and eastern parts of the country, as well as isolated over the south-western parts of South Africa.
Weather warnings:
Yellow level 2 warning: Damaging waves leading to difficulty in navigation at sea are expected between Saldanha Bay and Plettenberg Bay.
Yellow level 1 warning: Damaging waves resulting in localised disruption to harbours and/or ports with small vessels at risk of taking on water and capsizing in a locality, are expected along the coast between Plettenberg Bay and East London from this afternoon.
Yellow level 1 warning: Damaging winds leading to disruption to beachfront activities are expected between Cape Point and Plettenberg Bay.

Western Cape
Cloudy to partly cloudy and cold to cool with light rain over the western parts, spreading to the south coast in the afternoon.
The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong westerly along the south-west and south coast, moderating from the evening, otherwise moderate to fresh north-westerly becoming light southerly from the evening.

Western half of the Eastern Cape
Fine and cool to warm, becoming party cloudy along the coast with light rain and showers in the evening. The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly, becoming fresh to strong in the afternoon.
Eastern half of the Eastern Cape
Partly cloudy and cool to warm, becoming cloudy south of the escarpment overnight. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.
