Sometimes the most simplistic answers to our daily electronic questions are sitting right under our noses. Technology may sometimes feel complicated but here are some tips that will make working on a computer, surfing the net or simply cleaning your appliances a lot easier.
1. Looking for a place with wifi?
Find out which places have wifi in any area by searching 'Foursquare South Africa'.
2. Can't watch a regionally blocked video?
Proxtube lets you watch regionally blocked YouTube videos.
3. Downloading a strange file?
If you download a PDF file and it ends in 'exe', delete it, because it is a virus.
4. Lost a file you didn't save?
Search .asd in file explorer and 'My PC' or 'This PC'.
5. Want to change caps in Word?
Highlight a selection in Word and hit Shift + F3 to make it all lower or upper case.
