GEORGE NEWS - Theft out of motor vehicle cases are a very big concern in the George police precinct.
The past few months we experience an increase in of theft out of motor vehicle cases.
This message goes out to all our concerned citizens:
George SAPS advice to you:
• Remote control jammers are able to disable car remote controls.
• Make sure that your car is locked by manually testing it.
• Never push the lock button as you’re walking away, better be safe than sorry.
• Never leave valuables in your car, being it laptops, cellphones or handbags place such items in your boot before embarking.
• Never leave cash in your vehicle, under your car seat is never a safe option.
• Keep an eye out for your surroundings and any suspicious people around the area.
