GEORGE NEWS - People who are going through divorce, are separated or in a broken relationship are invited to the Divorce Care course that starts on Tuesday 30 January at the Methodist Church in Plantation Road at 18:00.
It will be the information / registration evening of the course.
"Divorce Care is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences.
"The course is for anyone who wants to find healing and become whole and complete again.
"With Divorce Care it is not necessary to go through separation or divorce alone," says Annette Marx, one of the facilitators.
The course consists of 13 topics that will help participants grow and heal from a traumatic situation.
It covers the topics of finances, anger, children, forgiveness and reconciliation, among others.
There is no fee, except for R130 for a workbook (participants can pay when they have the money available).
Participants who have children aged 8 to 12 or teenagers up to Grade 12, may bring them along for their own course called DC4K, where they can interact with a caring group of children going through the same trauma.
Divorce Care also offers a "Single and Parenting" course aimed at all single parents, whether divorced or never married.
Contact Marx on 083 461 9991 for more information.
