GEORGE NEWSFLASH - A woman (35) was arrested by the police on Wednesday 15 November after she was found with one hundred mandrax tablets in Thembalethu.
According to Captain Dumile Gwavu, Thembalethu Police communication officer, the woman was arrested after the police stopped a vehicle she was travelling in.
On searching the vehicle, they found mandrax with an estimated street value of R6 000.
She appeared at the Thembalethu Magistrate’s Court on Thursday 16 November and was released on bail of R1 000.
The suspect will appear in court again on 26 January 2018.
