GEORGE NEWS - Business owners of George and members of the public are all invited to the monthly George Sector 1 Community Police Forum (CPF) meeting on 1 April in the boardroom at Shoprite in the CBD at 17:30.
If business owners can't attend they are welcome to send a representative.
The aim of these monthly sector meetings is for business owners to voice their concerns about crime related and other problems that they are experiencing in town.
All relevant roleplayers, police members, members from the traffic departments, ward councillors and neighbourhood watches etc. are also welcome to attend.
"Unfortunately meetings aren't very well attended, which makes it difficult to resolve issues," said CPF Sector 1 vice chairperson, Barry Botha.
Whether it be business break-ins, issues pertaining to traffic, the homeless, car guards etc. the monthly Sector meetings provides a platform where these issues can be raised and addressed.
For any information contact Botha on 084 927 3263.
