GEORGE NEWS - There are still some issues with water supply in Herold's Bay and Oubaai.

The initial pipe burst was restored with minimum leakage yesterday and was left overnight to refill reservoirs. 

However, a second pipe burst last night, Tuesday 12 October.

Teams are currently working on the pipes. It is anticipated that the repairs will be completed this morning.

Water tankers will be stationed at the park in Rooikransie Street, Herold's Bay Heights and at the beachfront.
