GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Buffalo Tanks and Stiles/GoPlumb have joined up to sponsor eight 1 000-litre Slimline water tanks to the SPCA in George and Mossel Bay, Animal Welfare in Knysna and Odin in Oudtshoorn.
"During these unprecedented times everyone is looking for joy and hope. We trust our act of goodwill will contribute to the saving of our loved animals and assist the caring workers and volunteers in their day-to-day tasks," says Lili Grobler, chief financial operator at Stiles/GoPlumb.
Says Johanie Graupie, director at Buffalo Tanks: "These water tanks are our way of saying thank you to the SPCA for the great public service they provide to our community. We love our dogs and cats."
Salome Bruyns, head inspector at the George SPCA, says that animal welfare organisations rely on the public for donations.
"2020 has been a tough year for us. We are fortunate to receive gifts from businesses like these."
