GEORGE NEWS - A contractor is currently busy installing a 900mm stormwater in the intersection of Market & Meade Streets.
The water on the road surface (from the intersection toward Cradock Street) is sub surface water within the road layers being pump out and not municipal water.
The potable water has not been contaminated by the sub-surface water.
