GEORGE NEWS - Repair work will be undertaken on the pipeline that supplies water from the 9Ml reservoir on Monday 16 September by Urwhebo-Transand.
The higher lying areas of Denneoord will have no water, while the lower lying areas will experience weak water pressure.
The water will be switched off by 08:00 and repairs are estimated to take five (5) hours, subject to no complications arising.
There will be 3 water trucks available - they will be stationed at the Bergville Intercare parking area; Corner of 6th Avenue/Dennegeur Avenue and the public playground in St Paul Street.
Please provide your own containers.
A water cart will be stationed at the Denneoord Primary School for the duration of the water outage.
