GEORGE NEWS - Southern Cape Police spokesperson Malcom Pojie has confirmed that 3 vehicles were set alight between 01:00 and 03:00 this morning in Zone 1 and 6 in Thembalethu.
Two of the vehicles belongs to the municipal traffic services. When they were set alight, they were parked outside the houses of the municipal employees.
The other vehicle allegedly belongs to a George Link employee.
Pojie says a case of malicious damage to property has been opened and a motive for these incidents is unclear at this stage.
