GEORGE NEWS - The water pipe that was broken in Langenhoven Street has been repaired.
The management wishes to commend the water services team for a job well done repairing the broken water pipe under the rainy weather conditions.
The pipe break reportedly occurred following work done by a private fibre installation contractor in George.
The pipe break caused water supply interruption in parts of the George CBD.
The water trucks that temporarily supplied water to the affected areas have been withdrawn.
The George Municipality also wishes to thank the affected residents and businesses for their patience.
