GEORGE NEWS - Currently the road into Thembalethu is littered with bricks, and burnt tyres.
Part of a paved road leading into Nelson Mandela Boulevard has had paving lifted and the pavers remain strewn across the road.
Motorists must please take care when driving from the N2 bridge section (Garden Route Mall offramp) in the direction towards Thembalethu as the road remains covered in debris.
It is suggested that the alternative routing via York Street is taken.
The situation remains volatile and SAPS together with George Municipal Law Enforcement and Emergency Services remain on alert.
