GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality has restored drinking water to most areas although we are aware of CBD, Bodorp, Camphersdrift that are still experiencing water outages.
The water pressure will remain low throughout the city over the next few days, while the network continues to stabilise.
Our bulk water reservoirs remain under severe pressure due to high consumption and we request the public to continue using water sparingly for the next few days in order to allow reserves to build up.
We thank all residents who have heeded our call for reducing consumption.
