GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - In a new twist, supporters of the EFF's march started walking from Thembalethu, although this was not the original agreement with officials.
Police and traffic officials are at the fourways traffic lights in Thembalethu to make sure there are no other deviations from the original plan.
About 10 taxis are waiting to leave Thembalethu.
Traffic officials confirmed that traffic is not allowed in or out of Thembalethu at present as the EFF support is growing and marchers are blocking the entrance.
