Teddies for orphans in Turkey

The toys will join a shipment of toys in Albertinia over the weekend, destined for orphans who lost their parents during the recent earthquake in Turkey.

GEORGE NEWS - These leaders in the Grade 12 group at York High had great fun during a photo session for a soft-toy donation project to comfort orphans in Turkey. 

York High will only run the project until the end of this week, so soft toy owners are urged to please make haste and bring some pre-loved toys to York High School's reception during school hours today, 23 February and tomorrow, Friday 24 February. 

Toys shouldn't exceed 30cm in height.
