GEORGE NEWS - Garden Route Lifestyle Property is collecting stationery for impoverished schools and desperately needs assistance from the community.
While they are fortunate to be able to assist many individuals and schools during this period, they have come across a school in desperate need located in a rural community in the Garden Route.
Garden Route Lifestyle Property has already begun collecting and purchasing items, but they would greatly appreciate any help - even if it is only a few items or one or two entire sets of stationery.
They need to collect 41 of each of the following items:
Jumbo HB pencils, scissors, Pritt, two-hole sharpeners, twist crayons (12s), fingerlift ruler, jumbo colour pencil, triangular jumbo wax crayons, flip file (50 pages), A5 envelope stud, A4 envelope velcro, toothbrush and toothpaste, soap and face cloth, Niknaks and something sweet, a tennis ball for play and a big sharpener for the class.
Assistance with the following supplies for a high school is also needed:
Five scientific calculators and 15 math sets.
Donations can be dropped at any of Garden Route Lifestyle Property's offices: George: 24A Wellington Street; Sedgefield: Mosaic office 1 upstairs (next to Slow Roasted Coffee Shop) at the Mosaic market; or Hoekwil: Office 1 Building C, Duiwerivier Street.
Gladden a child's heart with a packet of stationery and some other little surprises.
Deadline for donations
Kandy Grieve, Garden Route Lifestyle Property general manager, said the public's donations will make a world of difference to these children.
"We are imploring businesses and individuals in the Garden Route to help. If you want to contribute, please let us know. The deadline for drop-off is the first week of December. A huge thank you to those fantastic friends, family, clients and companies who have already pledged to help."
