GEORGE NEWS - Songbird Music Studio is hosting a live music production, Songbird Soulo, under the direction of founder and coach Elrine Lottino. The event will take place at 19:00 on Friday 2 December at Eden Place, in Knysna Road, George.
"Students showcase their talent as part of Songbird Music Studio's artist development programme," said Lottino.
Singers and songwriters will perform a variety of contemporary hit songs with top local musicians. A guest performance by the Hoekwil Youth Choir, under the direction of Lottino, forms part of the programme.
The performing artists are Henco Bester, Anushka Olivier, Kira van der Spuy, Lila Gerber and Ava Murray, with Isabella and Katie Botes as backing vocals.
"The band is a well-oiled machine of musicians from different backgrounds who have been playing together in Eden Congregation's worship team for many years. Each a powerhouse musician in their own right! Our very own singer/songwriter Ettiene Steyn joins the band on vocals and guitar. We are privileged to have him perform with us and the students," said Lottino.
