Rossouw re-elected as chair of CAE Forum

GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality's chief auditor, Jean-Pierre Rossouw, will serve another term as chairperson of the Western Cape Local Government Chief Audit Executive (CAE) Forum.

Municipal Manager Dr Michele Gratz congratulated Rossouw on his re-election: "We are proud to have an official of Mr Rossouw's calibre and we wish him well with the task ahead of him for the new term."

Rossouw shared the good news on his LinkedIn account last Tuesday, 18 September, saying he is truly honoured and looking forward to continuing to add value to the municipal internal audit environment.

"Today we held yet another successful CAE Forum. I am thoroughly enjoying my role as chairperson of such a vibrant forum," he said.

Attendees included delegates from National Treasury, Western Cape Provincial Treasury, the IIASA, invited guests and presenters, as well as the CAEs and CROs from municipalities throughout the Western Cape province.
