GEORGE NEWS - The Madiba Run starts at Unity Park tomorrow, 21 July at 08:00.
Please note that only one lane of York Street (on the side of Arts Theatre) will be closed, from Cathedral Street up to Unity Park from 07:00 to 12:00.
The main traffic circle at Unity Park will be closed for 10 minutes to allow for the start of the event. The traffic circle will then be opened but will be controlled by traffic officials for the safety of the athletes who will finish the race from Caledon Street into Unity Park.
Caledon Street is currently undergoing roadworks and only has one lane available for traffic. This road will also be closed from 07:00 until 12:00.
