GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality is still experiencing a backlog with the collection of blue and green bags and will make every effort to clear as much as possible of the backlog that was created due to the unprotected strike.
Collection of blue and green bags is taking place today, Thursday 10 September in Heather Park, Denneoord, Bo-dorp, Blue Mountain, Kraaibosch, Pacaltsdorp, George South, Bos en Dal, Dormelsdrift, Groeneweide Park and Rooirivierrif.
The municipality apologises for the inconvenience and remains committed to providing services in the face of ongoing challenges.
