GEORGE NEWS - Bikers and friends from across the Garden Route are invited to join the Anti Abuse Run in aid of women and children who suffer at the hands of their abusers.
The run will take place on 9 August, Women's Day, and will start from the parking lot at Pick n Pay at the Garden Route Mall at 11:00.
From there everyone will head to the George Lions Club via Knysna Road and York Street.
Donations of toiletries, sanitary towels, face cloths, teddy bears, blankets and cash are needed. For more information please WhatsApp Hanlie on 072 705 1313.
There will be prizes to win in a lucky draw, as well as hot dogs, drinks and coffee.
