PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Protest action has flared up in Plettenberg Bay.
This time the protests are focused around New Horizons.
There are reports that residents are burning tyres on the N2 at Barons, an area between New Horizons and Kwanokuthula on the outskirts of Plettenberg Bay.
Authorities have asked motorists to stay off the roads for now.
About two weeks ago, there were riots in Qolweni, which later spread to others communities in Bitou.
These came to an end after Bitou mayor Peter Lobese met with residents and subsequently addressed their issues which included housing, schools, clinics and unemployment.
