Police shoot dog, owner in court for dagga
GREAT BRAK RIVER NEWS FLASH - A woman arrested for cultivating dagga and whose dog was shot during a police raid on her farm, is expected to appear in the Great Brak River Magistrates court today.

The suspect, Sharon Price, was arrested on Saturday, 12 March.

Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) national spokesperson, Robbie Raburabu said the investigation continues after a warrant officer from the Great Brak River Police Station shot Price’s 11-year-old Pit bull terrier during the dagga search.
 
According to police, the dog was shot in self defense.
