According to the hotel’s general manager, Hans Zander, the “problem” should be resolved by Monday. “I will be able to tell you more on Monday,” he said.
Rumours that the hotel’s furniture had been seized and carried out of the hotel by the Sheriff was found to be untrue.
“No, the sheriff has locked the doors and asked the guests to find alternate accommodation, but nothing has been removed from the hotel,” Zander explained.
He added that 90% of the guests had found alternative accommodation.
At 18:30 both Zander and the Sheriff were awaiting the return of two guests who had not yet returned to the hotel and were therefore unaware of the developments at the hotel.
