Update Video
GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - The roll-out of phase 4B of the Go George bus service has been postponed until the first week in June.
Minister of Transport Blade Nzimande just briefed the media on their decision to postpone the roll-out which would have taken place on Sunday 28 April.
After two hours of meetings between representatives of all three spheres of government, the decision was made to put the roll-out on hold.
Nzimande said it is important to use this time - just over a month - to make sure all roll players are on the same page with the next roll-out.
On a question from the George Herald whether they will be able to pull it off by the first week of June, seeing that months of talks and negotiations already took place, Grant said they are giving it their full commitment.
