GEORGE NEWS - The George Municipality confirmed that the Traffic Department's Protection Services section will be utilising the building on the premises of the former George Skatelab in York Street as offices.
They will occupy the property within the next two months, according to communications chief Chantel Edwards-Klose. She said no further development of the property is being planned at this stage.
George Skatelab closed its doors at the beginning of 2018 after being in operation for 19 years.
It was the longest running skatelab in the country and skateboarders were sad to see it go when the owner retired.
