GEORGE NEWS - No one has been arrested as Thembalethu police continue to investigate the murder of a man in Zone 6, Thembalethu on Friday 18 March.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson, Sgt Chris Spies, the victim was allegedly shot at about 21:40.
"On arrival members found the victim on the pavement at Silvertown with a gunshot wound to the head. He was declared dead by paramedics on the scene," said Spies.
"Circumstances surrounding this killing are under investigation. The motive for the killing is yet to be established and forms part of the ongoing police probe." A post-mortem to determine the cause of death will be conducted.
