GEORGE NEWS - Conville Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Ronaldo Goeieman (23) at the corner of King and Swan Streets in Parkdene, George on Saturday 23 September.
A 19-year-old man was arrested earlier today, 24 September, in connection with the murder.
“The suspect is facing a charge of murder and will appear in court once charged,” said Southern Cape Police Spokesperson Sergeant Christopher Spies.
“The preliminary investigation into his death indicates that the man came out of the toilet at an establishment when he was accosted by a group,” said Spies.
"One of them stabbed the victim with a knife. The victim sustained stab wounds to the chest and back. He was taken to hospital for medical care where he was declared dead on arrival by medical personnel.”
