GEORGE NEWS FLASH AND VIDEO - Pandemonium broke loose in Lawaaikamp at about 08:30 on Saturday, 20 June, when an alleged thief was apprehended by the community and manhandled.
The community accused the 19-year old young man of stealing items worth R5000 from a house in Vuyani Ncamazana Street in Lawaaikamp.
While being held by the community the man confessed that he sold some items to a foreign national and he was also responsible for a burglary in Mzoxolo Primary School on 7 June.
The police are yet to comment on this matter. More information is coming.
