GEORGE NEWS - A main pipeline in the Davidson Road area burst this morning, Tuesday, 8 September between 10:00 and 11:00.
George CBD, George South, Pacaltsdorp and Herold’s Bay may experience low water pressure or no water at all.
The municipality has asked the public to use water sparingly so that the reservoirs do not run out.
According to Henry Jansen, Deputy Director: Civil Engineering Services, they will try their best to get the problem fixed today, but work can run into the evening hours. “We will keep the public up to date on the progress and where water trucks will be situated when necessary.
"We apologise for any inconvenience and thank the public for their patience.”
