GEORGE NEWS - A festival that's all about local brands, local talent and local entrepreneurship will be hosted at Loxion Lounge Truns in Thembalethu on Saturday 28 October.

The public is invited to enjoy a leisurely morning at the Local Brand Festival, strolling through stalls that offer artisanal products, crafts, fashion and sumptuous food, livened up by the rhythm of local music talent and cultural performances.

And the best of the experience will be the knowledge that the money you spend will support only locals. 

According to Walter Blaq of The Blacksheep Network, the organisers of the festival, the event is aimed at promoting tourism, giving visitors and tourists a splendid chance to see local offerings and explore George and surrounds. 

It is an opportunity for local entrepreneurs to not only make their offerings known to the public, but also to network with local influencers and business owners.
