GEORGE NEWS - Oakhurst Insurance was proud to once again be one of the sponsors of this year's Kwagga Lang Tafel, which was hosted by Hoërskool Outeniqua on 2 March.
The Great Gatsby-themed evening was celebrated by over 800 guests in the spirit of the roaring twenties and the raucous Jazz Age.
Choosing as a theme the literary classic by F. Scott Fitzgerald was most fitting, as the school opened the same year the book was penned and celebrates its 95th birthday this year.
"We are humbled by our affiliation with Hoërskool Outeniqua - an institution of real excellence," said Simon Phage, CEO of Oakhurst Insurance.
"With Oakhurst's deep belief in retaining talent in George, we are keen participants in annual events such as these, which get behind the school to support the development of its learners.
"The event is always a great opportunity for Oakhurst Insurance and our partners to interact with members of the George community and fellow supporters of the school, and this year, it did not disappoint."
Oakhurst Insurance were delighted that all proceeds from the event are going the Garden Route SPCA, in accordance with their motto, "We Really Care, We Deliver".
