GEORGE NEWS & VIDEOS - People were already queuing at Prestons Liquor Store in Knysna Road at 07:00 this morning, Monday 1 June.
Today is the big day - the day that alcohol sales are again permitted under lockdown Level 3.
At Ultra Liquors in Knysna Road it was no different. The first person arrived at 06:45. Consumers wanting to purchase from Ultra Liquors, first had to have their temperatures taken.
Anyone who had a high temperature was not allowed in the shop, but were asked to come back 20 minutes later, when their temperature would be taken again before they would be allowed inside.
