GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - As part of Women's Month, the Herold Community Policing Forum (CPF) entertained and treated 200 women from the area last Saturday. The aim was to try to make a difference in their lives and future.
Prayer requests could be attached to the Tree of Hope. This hand-made 'tree' will go to different organisations where women will be granted the opportunity to attach their request. there after a designated team of intercessors will pray through every request and we believe many successful testimonies will come from this. Luke 1:37 "For nothing spoken by God is impossible.
Eden Cluster Commander, Major-General Oswald Reddy, was one of the guest speakers at the event. Joining him was pastor Charlotte Roberts and Elizabeth Matthews.
"We thank the farmers in the area for assisting with transport. Our gratitude also goes to Waboomskraal Thusong Centrum, Herold Dutch Reformed Church, the Herold police station and the ladies who joined. Last but not least we extend our thanks to social services, correctional services, SA Breweries Hop Farms, Gateway Lodge, Herold Sector Policing Forum, African Express bus services, Target Brand, Herold Agri Landbou-vereeniging, George Municipality, the Bo-Kammanassie Landbou-vereeniging and Coca Cola," said George police communications officer, Sergeant Michael Opperman.
