GEORGE NEWS - Following the heavy rain that fell yesterday morning, 5 August, George field workers had trouble traversing a normally dry creek.
The rush of water made life difficult for the workers who were working around the Blue Mountain/ Kraaibosch/ Garden Route Mall area.
The creek runs between the N2 and Thembalethu and the workers normally just make their way through the veld and dry creek when going home, but on Thursday they had no choice but to hop on a taxi.
According to sawx.co.za 33mm was measured at Witfontein in George from 08:00 on Thursday 5 August until 08:00 on 6 August.
