GEORGE NEWS - How many wild animals and plants live in your area? Are there any threatened species?
Help scientists by documenting the wildlife in the George area from Friday to Monday, 24 to 27 November, when the citizen science website iNaturalist is presenting the Great Southern Bioblitz in the Southern Cape.
Members of the public are invited to join the project and enjoy the fun and sun while recording plants, animals or fungi in the area. This involves taking photos and uploading the observations.
Eighteen places (towns, regions and countries) in five countries in southern and central Africa are taking part in the Great Southern Bioblitz 2023.
