GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - On Wednesday 27 July, a Garden Route District Municipality Fire & Rescue Services team left for Johannesburg to participate in the Dräger SA Fire Combat & Rescue Challenge.
The challenge will be hosted by Dräger in association with SA Emergency Care (SAEC) and is sponsored by Ram Couriers.
The team members include, from left: Emile Conrad, David van Niekerk, Branville Abrahams, Grant Gericke and Petrus Jordaan.
It is the second time that GRDM Fire & Rescue Services will take part in this internationally renowned challenge.
GRDM’s council, management and staff wish the Garden Route team best of luck in the competition, saying they have showed in the past that they have the ability to move mountains with their determination, perseverance and optimism.
