GEORGE NEWS - Taking a step into the unknown is always met with uncertainty, a touch of fear and of course, lots of excitement.
This morning, many little hearts will beat super-fast when they enter the gates of their primary school for the first time as Grade 1 learners.
Although it might not be altogether unknown territory, since many completed Grade R at the same premises, officially starting your primary school career is a huge event.
George Herald journalists are out in the field this morning to capture some of these precious moments.
Keeping in mind that the George area have more than 20 primary schools in our growing metro, we urge parents to send us photos of their children’s very first day in Grade 1.

Please share them at our Grade 1 post of this morning on George Herald’s Facebook page, or send an e-mail to dot@groupeditors.co.za for the photos to be added to an online photo gallery.
