Gong sounds at next lunch hour concert

GEORGE NEWS - At the lunch hour concert on Wednesday 12 April, the holistic sound artist Yin Xiong will perform her Opera of Sounds.

Yin is an ambassador of gong sound music and the unique corpus of vibrational sounds delivers a wide spectrum of truly unparalleled, natural sound vibrations.

The music she performs can help people achieve a state of deep relaxation. With decades of experience and training with master teachers, she has performed on various stages around the world.

Yin Xiong is the proud owner of one of the world's largest collections of gongs, which are embedded in a variety of state-of-the-art sound instruments.

She will be supported by Christina Auerbach, a health practitioner who has a masters of education in sound and mindfulness and has for the last 30 years focused on the power that sound has to balance and optimise body and mind.

The concert takes place in the Dutch Reformed Mother Church from 13:10 to 14:50. Entrance is free, but donations are appreciated.
