GEORGE NEWS - The theme of next year's Cansa Relay for Life, "Purple Cansalympics", promotes healthy living.
In keeping with this, even the lucky draw prizes promote a healthy lifestyle.
A R20 donation will stand you a chance to win a R10 000 mountain bicycle, and for R10 you have a chance to walk away in two pairs of running shoes valued at R600 per pair.
Grant Thornton, Top Gear, and Cycle and Sports have come on board for next year.
Grant Thornton's Jaco Hugo donated the mountain bike and Cycle and Sports are donating a helmet and cycling top to go with the bicycle. Top Gear has donated the running shoes.
Jaco Hugo (right) hands the cheque for the mountain bike to Lorraine Verhagen, chairperson of Cansa Relay for Life, with Robert Lotter (left) waiting to hand over the helmet and cycling top that Cycle and Sports donated as part of the prize.
The draw will take place on the night of the event.
Drop in at the Cansa offices in Merriman Street to buy your tickets.
