GEORGE NEWS - A fun run took place on Saturday morning 27 October at Thembalethu Square.

More than 3000 entries were received for this yearly event.

Participants took part in two divisions: 2km and 5km. The first fun run was held in 2013 when Thembalethu Square was 1 year old.

Heloise Terblanche, operational manager for Thembalethu Square, says there are plans in the pipeline to add a 10 km run to the event next year.

A fun run took place on Saturday morning at Thembalethu Square.
