GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - Tremendous damage was done to the premises of the Garden Route Food Pantry after a fire started there earlier this afternoon, Saturday 7 August.

The cause of the fire is not yet known. The estimated damage is more or less R100 000. 

Carl Van Blerk, manager of the food pantry, spoke to the George Herald a short while ago.
