GEORGE NEWS - Afrox personnel had the opportunity to experience the personal sense of reward from helping those less fortunate during a visit to Ethembeni Day Care Centre in Thembalethu on 12 October.
They handed over groceries, toys, carpets, a fridge, stoves, pots and much more.
They spent the day playing with the children, spoiling them with snacks and treating them to a braai.
The aim was to leave the children and the centre with what they needed most and also show them that they are loved.
The outreach was part of the company's Bumbanani Community Volunteering Programme that encourages employees to make a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of disadvantaged children.
The teachers and children of Bumbanani were happy about the donations from Afrox.
The children had a fun day and were treated to a braai.
