Plans for centre
He says his plans for the centre includes to instill the back-to-basics principles where each member understands the mandate of the service delivery model to safely guard, rehabilitate and send each person back into the community to make a positive contribution.
"I am looking forward to new challenges and want the staff to serve the community with outstanding service and professionalism, to make George Prison one of the model prisons in the country," he said.
He also feels it is of the utmost importance to work hand in hand with external role players and other organisations.
