Update
GEORGE NEWS - The Vehicle Testing Station (VTS) located on Hibernia Street (next to the train station) has been temporarily closed for upgrading and replacement of equipment and would have reopened on 27 March.
Due to technical issues, the facility will be closed for another week and re-open on 3 April. The public is advised to use private vehicle testing stations.
Also note that as per Easter Plan communicated to the public, about the free vehicle testing for periods 31 March, and 1 April will not be able to take place, but will be provided from 3 to 6 April.
The Vehicle Testing station opens weekdays from 08:30 – 15:30, when is operational, and can be contacted at 044 801 9312.
