GEORGE NEWS - 60 years ago, on 5 April 1958, Ted (95) and Kay (89) Schroeder said, "I do".
The couple clearly meant what they said as six decades later their camaraderie is a joy to behold.
Ted and Kay are much loved and for many years have been extremely active residents of Rendezvous Cottages, part of the George Service Clubs Utility Company.
They certainly practise the motto they preach, namely "oldies are not mouldy". On their 55th wedding anniversary in 2013, Kay fell and had to undergo surgery to mend her broken wrist.
Luckily all the bones healed well and soon afterwards Kay was back at her many creative practices. Mooi loop, Ted and Kay!
