GEORGE NEWS - Georgians are encouraged to come and push the pedals for a good cause in a 24-hour Spin-A-Thon from 27 to 28 September.
The Spin-A-Thon, supported by Hillbillies MTB Club, Spar and Crossfit George, will be in aid of the frail care unit at Tuiniqua Care Centre in Kerk Street, George.
Volunteers are asked to pledge per kilometre and cycle for 30 minutes, one hour or more during the 24 hours.
Donations in the form of cash or services are very welcome. The public can also guess what the total distance cycled will be.
Great prizes are up for grabs.
