GEORGE NEWS - The Department of Water and Sanitation's Walk-in Customer Care Centre in George, in assistance with GO Giant, distributors of Just Water and Body Fuel Express, hosted the Grade R Learners of a local crèche recently.
Skulpieland in Cradock Street had a fun-filled visual session on the importance of saving water for future generations.
They were equipped with knowledge to become young water ambassadors and water soldiers.
Water saving forms part of their curriculum. It is important to start teaching children from a very young age, especially in the light of the drought in the Western Cape, which is expected to continue over an extended period.
The Department of Water and Sanitation invites students to the centre for a fun-filled session to educate them about water saving.
