GEORGE NEWS - The winner of  'The Entrepreneur', a new, intensive business training and mentorship programme for local businesses was announced at a business expo held at Eden Meander Lifestyle Centre on Friday 17 November.

The coveted award went to Marguerite van der Merwe, owner of Piekant Picnic. 

The programme is an initiative of George Business Chamber in collaboration with Airports Company South Africa (Acsa) and George Herald as it's media sponsor.

The George Business Chamber 'The Entrepreneur' program, sponsored by Airports Company South Africa (Acsa) was launched on the 6th July 2023.

The content of the different sessions was embraced by the Entrepreneurs who have all reported that the program has assisted them in identifying areas of their business that need attention to ensure a sustainable future
